IPTV in the United Kingdom

British channels from domestic feeds, with a programme guide mapped to GMT / BST (UTC+0, UTC+1 in summer) β€” not a generic international lineup with a UTC guide bolted on.

British channels to look for

These are the networks British viewers actually watch. Use them as your test list during a trial β€” if a service carries these reliably, it covers the United Kingdom properly. If it offers a handful of them from an international simulcast, it does not.

What is different about the United Kingdom

The UK has the strictest live-football scheduling rules in Europe. The Saturday 3pm blackout, in force since the 1960s, prevents live football being broadcast domestically between 2.45pm and 5.15pm β€” which is why UK fixtures cluster at 12.30pm, 5.30pm and Sunday afternoons.

BST clock changes throw the guide out by an hour

The UK shifts between GMT and BST twice a year. Player apps set to a fixed UTC offset rather than the Europe/London timezone will be exactly one hour out for half the year. Set the timezone by name, not by offset.

Our programme guide setup guide covers the timezone and EPG fixes in detail.

Test British coverage yourself

Two hours, no card details. Load the British channels from your test list, check the guide shows correct GMT times, and decide from evidence rather than a claim on a page.
